Capital City National Showcase

The Capital City National Showcase is an inaugural national high school basketball event hosted in Washington, D.C., featuring top prep programs from across the country. A first-year event needs to look like it belongs alongside established showcases from day one. The site, the assets, and the brand all had to earn credibility fast.

The Capital City National Showcase is an inaugural national high school basketball event hosted in Washington, D.C., featuring top prep programs from across the country. A first-year event needs to look like it belongs alongside established showcases from day one. The site, the assets, and the brand all had to earn credibility fast.

New event, no room for new-event energy.

The showcase needed a digital home that could sell tickets, attract college coaches, and represent the caliber of teams competing. Designed and built in Framer, the site covered schedule, team profiles, sponsors, and ticketing. Every page built to make a first-year event feel established.

Consistent under pressure.

With multiple teams, sponsors, and stakeholders feeding content into the site, the real job was keeping visuals consistent as the event approached. All assets managed and maintained through launch: team graphics, sponsor placements, event photo
